Engang en landevejscykel, i dag kultgenstand og museumsstykke. Dens historie og design inspirerer stadig mange cykelelskere og entusiaster den dag i dag. I dette blogindl\u00e6g tager vi p\u00e5 en rejse ind i fortiden med en ekstraordin\u00e6r cykel, der ikke har mistet noget af sin kraft, selv efter s\u00e5 mange \u00e5r.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diamant 167 er modellen til fredsk\u00f8rslen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Det hele begynder i 1952: Det \u00e5r begynder vi at udvikle Diamant 167. To \u00e5r senere, i maj, afsluttes projektet med succes. Planen er at producere 150 konkurrencedygtige 167-racercykler til cykelklubberne i DDR. Denne ambiti\u00f8se mission har et klart m\u00e5l. Fra den 28. august 1954 skulle cyklerne sikre succes ved den prestigefyldte Friedensfahrt (Fredsk\u00f8rsel). Fredsk\u00f8rslen var en cykeltur gennem Polen, Tjekkiet og DDR og var lige s\u00e5 kendt \u00f8st for muren som Tour de France vest for muren. Og missionen lykkes: Scenen er nu klar til, at der bliver skrevet historie.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et \u00e5r senere k\u00f8rer alt stadig som smurt for Diamant inden for cykelsporten. L\u00f8bet strakte sig over 2214 kilometer og var fordelt p\u00e5 13 etaper.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introduktion af de runde gaffelben<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Diamant 167 blev produceret i fire forskellige stelst\u00f8rrelser. Vi udviklede og monterede for f\u00f8rste gang en forgaffel med runde ben. Den lille diameter og gaffelbenenes runde form i hele l\u00e6ngden gav bonus i forhold til affjedringskomfort. Vejforholdene var ofte meget d\u00e5rlige p\u00e5 det tidspunkt. Ikke alle veje var asfalterede, og brosten var stadig dominerende, is\u00e6r i bymidterne. Dermed kunne st\u00f8dp\u00e5virkningerne p\u00e5 s\u00e5danne overflader udj\u00e6vnes. Som f\u00f8lge heraf bevarede Diamant-rytterne mere kontrol over deres cykler og blev mindre tr\u00e6tte. Da forgaflen havde bevist sit v\u00e6rd, brugte vi den senere ogs\u00e5 p\u00e5 Diamant-sportscyklerne. Det er ikke altid let, is\u00e6r ikke med cykler, der er blevet kraftigt modificeret. Ofte er dateringen dog ret enkel. I 1956 blev modellen tilbudt med et 4-trins udvendigt gear til 776,50 D-mark. Modellen med et 8-trins udvendigt gear kostede omkring 40 mark mere. I dag ses Diamant 167 sj\u00e6ldent p\u00e5 vejene. Nogle f\u00e5 har overlevet i deres oprindelige stand, mens mange andre er blevet opgraderet med moderne komponenter. Det er vanskeligt at fastsl\u00e5, hvor mange Diamant 167 der stadig findes i dag. Visuelt var cyklen allerede dengang et h\u00f8jdepunkt. Vi tror, at denne charme stadig er intakt i dag. Det er dog ikke kun dens udseende, men ogs\u00e5 dens bem\u00e6rkelsesv\u00e6rdige holdbarhed, der g\u00f8r Diamant 167 unik den dag i dag.
