En tid, hvor stilfuld cykling var en kunst i sig selv. I dette blogindl\u00e6g vil vi tage et n\u00e6rmere kig p\u00e5 de s\u00e6rlige egenskaber ved disse to turcykler og deres rolle i en turbulent tid.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10 \u00e5r med DDR<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I anledning af 10-\u00e5rsdagen for grundl\u00e6ggelsen af DDR \u2013 det dav\u00e6rende \u00d8sttyskland \u2013 den 7. oktober 1959 satte cykelproducenterne p\u00e5 den ber\u00f8mte fabrik VEB Elite Diamant i Chemnitz sig ambiti\u00f8se m\u00e5l: Produktion af i alt 273.000 cykler, herunder introduktion af de to modeller Diamant 35 102 og 35 154. Dette er turcykler \u2013 p\u00e5 den ene side herreversionen 35 102 og p\u00e5 den anden side damecyklen 35 154.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De to cykler blev hovedsageligt brugt til cykelpendling til arbejde og cykling i fritiden. Der var dog \u00e9n m\u00e6rkbar begr\u00e6nsning: Modellerne var ikke udstyret med gear, og det gjorde l\u00e6ngere ture og stejle stigninger til en udfordrende opgave.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">B\u00e5de herre- og damecyklen fandtes kun i stelst\u00f8rrelse 56. For h\u00f8jere personer bet\u00f8d det, at sadelpinden skulle s\u00e6ttes maksimalt op, s\u00e5 de stadig kunne cykle komfortabelt. Udstyret p\u00e5 begge varianter var ogs\u00e5 praktisk talt identisk. Damecyklen havde en turcykelsadel og en frakkesk\u00e5ner p\u00e5 bagsk\u00e6rmen. Frakkesk\u00e5neren skulle forhindre, at t\u00f8jet blev fanget i baghjulet.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I \u00f8vrigt forblev cyklerne n\u00e6sten u\u00e6ndrede gennem hele produktionsperioden (1959-1987). Kun laktemaerne og designelementerne blev \u00e6ndret fra tid til anden. Med klassiske stelformer og en behagelig siddeposition tilb\u00f8d de en tidl\u00f8s m\u00e5de at komme rundt p\u00e5.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vi finder stadig spor af disse nostalgiske designs i Diamant Topas Grande Finale fra 2022, som fastholder det karakteristiske svanehalsstel fra model 35 154 i en moderne form.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-5 wp-block-paragraph\">Denne forbindelse mellem fortid og nutid minder os om, at nogle ting simpelthen er tidl\u00f8se. Selvom cykelteknologien har udviklet sig, er fascinationen af klassisk elegance stadig intakt.
