    Accessibility Statement

    Status of this Statement: 30.06.2025
Applies to: This statement applies to the website provided at www.diamantrad.com and its functions.

    1. Commitment to Accessibility

We are committed to making our website and digital services accessible in accordance with the requirements of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) and the European standard EN 301 549.
Our goal is to ensure equal access to our services for all people using our website – regardless of their abilities. You should be able to:

    • Zoom up to 400% of the original size without limiting content usability, including increasing spacing
    • Navigate easily and logically (with visible keyboard focus) using only the keyboard, without a mouse or other pointing device
    • Access all content in at least two different ways (e.g., navigation, search, sitemap)
    • Understand the purpose of each page through meaningful titles
    • Operate content using voice control, high contrast mode, smartphones, or other alternative devices regardless of screen orientation
    • Recognize the name, role, and status of third-party integrated widgets in an accessible way

    2. Compliance Status

The website is partially compliant with the requirements of EN 301 549.
    This assessment is based on:

    • An internal evaluation based on the criteria of EN 301 549:2021
    • A technical review of key functionalities in May 2025

    3. Measures to Improve Accessibility

To strengthen accessibility, we are taking various measures:

    • Every website update must be at least as accessible as before
    • We regularly assess the state of the website and respond to new developments and requirements
    • We ensure continuous training of all people involved in the website

    4. Technical Standards

This website was developed with the following standards in mind:

    • HTML5, ARIA roles, and landmark structures
    • Color contrast and other barrier-reducing measures according to WCAG 2.1 AA
    • Responsive design for mobile devices
    • Compatibility with screen readers (tested with NVDA and VoiceOver)

Accessibility is defined in three levels: A, AA, and AAA. We aim for Level AA and partially achieve this goal.

    5. Non-Accessible Content

The following content and areas are currently not fully accessible:

    • Older PDF documents are partially inaccessible
    • Some images and graphics lack meaningful alternative text or sufficient contrast
    • Keyboard navigation is limited in certain areas (e.g., filter functions)
    • Not all headings are fully accessible in terms of content – this particularly affects blog headings
    • Many texts use complex language, including occasional wordplay and irony
    • Embedded videos mostly lack audio descriptions or alternative versions in sign language
    • Not all animated graphics can be paused or hidden
    • Some embedded content (e.g., the podcast player) is not accessible via keyboard
    • Some pages contain multilingual content, which can cause issues with screen readers

We are continuously working to improve these issues. When older content with such issues is updated, problematic elements will be made accessible. However, we may refrain from doing so if it would require a disproportionate effort – e.g., in the case of older PDFs or videos.
