A journey into the unknown
Our movement is free-time. That’s our motto for the collection bike this year. And we’re going to the moon. Why, you ask? Because the moon is the perfect symbol for time and for the human urge to free ourselves from constraints to find and build a better world.
We are celebrating 140 years of time, and we are embarking on a new journey into unknown lands. This is our shared moment of the moon landing and the Diamant 140 our lunar vehicle.

Robust
The excellent Shimano GRX 822 rear derailleur works precisely, reliably and quickly, even under load and in the face of dust and dirt.

Dynamic
The suspension fork from Suntour and the all-terrain tires from Schwalbe ensure plenty of comfort on any terrain.

Adventurous
The modern front rack from Racktime is suitable for handlebar bags carrying up to 5 kg – perfect for your expedition to the unknown world.

Versatile
Many mounting interfaces on the frame of the Diamant 140 make it possible to attach accessories such as bottle cages, frame bags, drybags or pumps.

We want to be alive
Do you still remember? Why did we start this journey? Now is the time. From our dreams we will create our world. That is our responsibility. It is our duty. We are meant to write history. And we will not let others take that away from us.
Join us giving earth its time. May we leave the time in awe. Let us, in the purest sense, be free.
And now: Fire roars from our rocket’s funnel. We move ahead. Alive.

Collection bikes are limited-edition models that showcase Diamant at its most creative. They serve as a journey through our rich history or as an exploration of contemporary trends. While they are always based on current existing frames, they stand out significantly from regular models. Collection bikes are developed in creative workshops, bringing together product management, design, and marketing. Unlike regular bikes, which prioritize technology and utility, a collection bike is born from a story.
“Our movement is free time”. That’s our motto this year. And we’re going to the moon. Why, you ask? Because the moon is the perfect symbol of time – and of humanity’s desire to break free from constraints to build a better world.
The Diamant 140 is our first European collection bike. We celebrate 140 years of time and embark on a new journey into the unknown. This is our moon landing moment, and the Diamant 140 is our lunar vehicle.
Diamant introduced its first collection bikes in 2010 with the Pacer 125 and the Topas 125. There was no model released in 2011, but since 2012, Diamant has developed a new collection bike every year.
Each year, our collection bikes explore a unique theme and tell a self-contained story. We intentionally design bikes that stand out – sometimes in a bold or provocative way. To enhance their value as collector’s items, production is limited. If a concept proves successful, it may inspire a new regular model, as was the case with the Diamant Nhoma (collection bike 137, 2022).
Collection bikes are distinguished by their striking design – whether through bold colors, special paint finishes, or unique graphics. But they are more than just eye-catchers: each model tells a story. For example, we collaborated with a yoga instructor on the Diamant 137, partnered with an outdoor chef for the 138, and co-designed the 139 with one of Germany’s most successful DJs.
