Guarantee and warranty
We provide a lifetime warranty from the date of purchase on all Diamant frames and rigid forks for workmanship and material defects. For all original parts, except for suspension forks, Diamant offers a two-year warranty (or the respective statutory warranty period) from the date of purchase. Suspension forks are subject to the warranty terms of their respective manufacturers. For paint and decals, a two-year warranty applies.
The warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective frame, fork, or part. Whether a repair, replacement, or exchange of the product free of charge or at a discount is offered is at Diamant’s sole discretion. The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable for Diamant bicycles purchased before July 2019. For bicycles purchased after July 2019, if the bike is resold within the first three years, we offer the new owner up to 3 years of frame warranty from the original purchase date.
The purchase contract exists between the buyer and the retailer. Diamant’s warranty supplements the statutory warranty obligations of the retailer. Warranty claims against Diamant can only be made through an authorized Diamant dealer. Proof of the original purchase is required (in the form of an invoice or another dated sales document that identifies the Diamant bicycle by frame number).
Further information on how we handle warranty claims can be found in our FAQ section.
The warranty excludes damage caused by normal wear and tear, defects, malfunctions, or failures resulting from misuse, negligence, improper assembly, or maintenance, as well as the installation of third-party parts. Diamant is not liable for accidents, consequential damage, or damage caused by improper handling. The warranty does not cover labor costs for repairing or replacing parts. Users assume the risk for personal injury and property damage if the bicycle is used at any time for stunts, mud riding, or similar activities that are not considered normal use. Damage resulting from such activities is explicitly excluded from the warranty.
These warranty terms do not apply to bicycles purchased before 2012. For bicycles purchased before 2012, our customer service team can assist through the contact form or retailer to apply the correct warranty terms.
This warranty grants customers specific rights, which may vary from country to country. Customers’ statutory rights remain unaffected by this warranty.
The information provided in our product details—namely regarding specifications, models, dimensions, performance, and weights of the bicycles—are approximate and non-binding and do not constitute contractual assurances or offers.
